Well, this is on hold for a few weeks. Christmas for the kiddos comes first. Got me a bandsaw last month, I am buying a new welder and Tube Bender in Jan.  And looking for a worthy B-12 mill in the meantime. Hope to be back on track with this in Feb. Have it done around May/June.....

I'm just gonna save up for another 2months and buy a used Busa for this summer. And fix 2nd gear in the gixx. sorry guys, this will be a cool chop when its done, just not going to mess with it anymore right now. Im fed up with all the BS trying to find a good engine.   :groan

The upper rear engine mounts were broken off the case completely(that was how hard the bike was wrecked).... We tell them I dont want it then...So, they get another one in.... the case is broken on that one so then they cut the mounts off that one and weld them onto the first engine.....with the engine assembled ... :groan and try and tell me it will work just fine..... are you flippin serious people......wtf ... :31

Dale I am sorry it isn't working out. I have sent them an email telling them this just won't work. But haven't heard anything yet. If after today they don't respond I am going to see what I have to do about filing a complaint with pay-pal

OKAY Curt. I wish this all had worked out too. It sure is not our fault....you have been great. Thanks for everything so far. This is just gonna have to wait till this fall. I'm going to just get a used Busa and be done with it for now.

No, I have not.

I figured he was just biding his time. As you only have so much time to file a complaint with PP. He was stringing us along trying to run that time out. Sorry for getting you in the midle of this crap.

This kind of died out for a bit. But now that I have a TL 1000 engine and all it's supporting components, I am going to use it for this project. It should be back on track this fall. Maybe done next spring...

It will be simular to this ....... but in a soft tail frame, and a few degrees less rake ....
