« on: October 06, 2011, 06:09:58 pm »
This bike is completely sexy. :D The new King Of Supermoto's? Guess we will have to wait and see. although it's a bit out of reach compared to the price of most peoples tards. But a 1200 stuffed in a SM frame!?! you bet it's a ton of fun! :34

Ducati is introducing a new track-ready Corse Edition of the Hypermotard 1100 EVO SP for 2012.
The 2012 Ducati Hypermotard 1100 EVO SP Corse Edition comes dressed in red, white and black colors (similar to the Pikes Peak edition Multistrada). Otherwise, the Corse Edition is mechanically similar to the 2011 Hypermotard 1100 EVO SP.
The suspension system is comprised of fully adjustable 50mm Marzocchi forks with a low-friction diamond like coating (separating it from the base Hypermotard 1100 EVO). At the rear, the SP uses an Ohlins shock compared to the non-SP?s Sachs monoshock. The SP version also offers more ground clearance and comes equipped with higher handlebars.Brakes are also upspec from the base Hypermotard 1100 with the SP edition equipped with Brembo monobloc calipers.
The engine is the same 1078cc Desmodue Evoluzione engine claiming 95 hp and 75.9 ft-lb. with 7,500 miles between regular service intervals.
The 2012 Ducati Hypermotard 1100 EVO SP Corse Edition is available immediately at the same $14,495 MSRP as the 2011 model.
