Find Traveling Ted the Duck.
« on: June 05, 2012, 03:59:04 pm »
Meet Traveling Ted the Duck.

Ted obviously likes travelling so we're going to help.  Here's how it works, this is a variation of the 'tag' game. To start it I will hide Ted and provide a set of pictures for hints. You use those pictures and find Ted and move him elsewhere. Then provide your own picture clues so the next person can find Ted.
Now for the rules; this is a riding game so pictures of Ted with your bike are required.  Ted likes staying within a roughly 150 mile radius of Knoxville. Ted cannot be hidden any where that the people looking for him are put at risk of criminal charges or bodily harm. If Ted isn't located or relocated in a reasonable time I will either retrieve Ted or grab a spare Ted (I bought a dozen) and get the game back on track. Only one Ted may be in play at any given time.
So with that out of the way, stand by for Ted deployment as soon as I get home.

The game is afoot! Ted is out in the wild. We rode out to take in some scenery ...

Ted loved one of my favorite views.

So much in fact that he decided to stay. He's tucked away safely here...

He's in the large crack under the concrete on that corner.

Genius! what a great idea, it can make a good ride even greater, a never ending scavenger hunt of sorts, ETB-Duck Hunt! Pics, stories, adventure and what a great video diary Ted could have too.

hmmm...I did take the bike to work today....If he isn't found before I get off I might run to where I think he is and pick him up.  That is if everybody is ok with him going out of state for a week or so...since he just got in Tennessee I want to make sure it's ok with his parent (Ian) that he travels  :34

Doesn't matter to me. Or you can hide him elsewhere on your way home from picking him up.

Ted has been rescued and has decided to spend the night with me in Friendsville (don't worry he's gonna have his own bed).  That was a good spot Ian!

Proof I was on the bike:

Ted said he wanted to check the forum so I let him use the computer...told him no duck porn though - the wife would ask questions that I wouldn't know how to answer  :34

He should have a new location tomorrow evening.

I was in the office at 4pm, looking at how nice it was outside when i saw the "ted" post. by 4:20 i was kickstand up rolling to the FHP. takes me about 1 1/2 hrs to get there so i just miss you. would have been cool to get there at the same time and foot rce it to Ted.  :34 - i might have ridden right up the bank if i saw you, my foot race days are over.
What a cool idea.
