RideWNC.com tires and general maintinance
« on: July 08, 2012, 09:22:38 pm »
Just a plug for a friend.  MikeE website n forum RideWNC.com.

He does tires mount n balance $10 a wheel,  You can order online and ship to him and he will gladly hold them till your ready to have them done.  He is also very meticulous and will look over your bike for any possible issues as he does the tires.

He also stocks common sizes and brand/styles like PP 2ct, PP, Pr2 etc.  120/180/190's

He is currently trying to up his buying tier w/ jake wilson, The more he buys the better the discount he can pass on to you and me...  this isnt a biz but more of a past time or hobby for him.

He also has Arete 90 degree valve stems on hand, I love these things and put them on all my rims..  Some days he is more than happy to lead a lunch loop ride.

Location is zip 28906, More details and info on his website and forum @ http://ridewnc.com/

After all the crap we've went through this past week trying to get tires, and mounted dad and I are about to just buy a tire changer.  I'll give him a buzz, I need new shoes on my 250.

Also if you order tires thru him he can have them drop shipped to your door.   He is working on a large tire order now of Sets only which gives bigger discounts i think..  Plus the ride down here to get them put on cant be beat :34

I know you can get Battle Axes in the appropriate size. If I recall you go one size wider in the rear.

FYI..

MikeE has 2 sets of tires he purchased for someone who backed out on him he is trying to get rid of.
1 set 120/70 190/55 PP2ct

1 set 120/70 190/55 PP

Dont hold me to it but I think it was @ cost w/ free mount n balance..

I own a tire changer bought it a long time ago off a guy who had stopped riding. Well I went in on it with another friend of mine but we don't have anywhere to mount it other than his garage in alabama

From my mobile command unit attached to my hand.

I have one too but I still take my tires to Mike,  He makes it look effortless :34   Plus he has a electronic balancer..  I have him balance my rims before mounting

I can knock 10-15 off a set of tires from JakeWilson.com.
If the tires are listed on the JakeWilson Web page, I can save you a few $$$ off of their listed price.
Yes - I can have them shipped to you from JakeWilson if you use PAYPAL to pay me.

I have a couple of 190 which I ordered for two guys who blew me off.
One stopped riding and is now boating, and the other is just a douche. They have been sitting in my loft for two months and need to go!
My 120 are always very fresh I go through a lot of those but just posted them as a set to sweeten the pot.

Michelin PP 2CT 190/55-17 & PP 2CT 120/70-17 - 260.00 Mounted and Balanced on or off the bike. I would do this 190 for 160.00.

Michelin PP 190/55-17 & 120/70-17 - 250.00 Mounted and Balanced on or off the bike. I would do this 190 for 150.00.

I can do Pilot Power 180/55-17 and 120/70-17 for 225.00 mounted and balanced.

I am not a vendor just a rider trying to help out other riders.

I can do cruisers, as well.
I have saved cruiser riders hundreds of dollars from what the local HD wannabe shops charge.

I am in Murphy by the golf course not far from US129.
