Like the conversion to white, but War of the Worlds (1950's version) called and wants the headlight back. :)

i would think the forks would be way way way too short..... just look into the racetech internals and gold emulators.

LH, why would you want to put really heavy and short sport bike components on a very light and tall motard? If you are looking for adjustability there are a lot better (and likely cheaper) ways to go. Race Tech is a great start as mentioned as are a few others. I'd also have to wonder how much the rear would have to be compromised just to get the suspension back to level and how much the trade-off would affect the handling. There may be people who have done it but I haven't heard of it being successful before.

I agree with Dragon and Jeff. Deff go ith just re springing the fronts with some race techs. Also might look into going with a good set of motorcross forks. The motorcross forks are by far way Superior to any street or SS forks.

If you're looking at converting to a supersingle (superbikes front end, shortened rear shock) go for it.  Otherwise as mentioned a sportbike front end will be way too short and mess up the suspension geometry.
