I ride a 2006 Yamaha/Star Roadstar Sliverado, bone stock mechanically, only a few parts have been added onto the bike to enhance its appearance, like the chrome saddlebag guards. 47,000 miles on her and the only major repairs done has been the replacement of the pulley and mainshaft in the transmission when the nut for the pulley backed off the summer before last, leaving me stranded in Coker Creek 2 summer's ago. Otherwise, it's been gas tires and oil....... :21

1982 Honda V45 Magna (Maggie)
Black and looks like it came out of a times capsule. I have rebuilt the carbs, new plugs, new AGM battery, New rubber , fresh oil change, all new gaskets including valve covers,  and now getting ready to take it to Ian to have him adjust the valves and sync the carbs.  One of the best riding bikes I have ever owned. Smooth as heck!! Almost as smooth as a gold wing in the interstate! :what
I have a set of hard bags with built in turn lights that I got from luke that I am waiting to install, And a LED kit to put on as well. My bucket list will also include a new head light. I want to replace the bulb with a crystal clear bulb much like brad has on his SV. Then install an HID kit so riding to work at 2am would be a bit easier. :)

Also my 2008 Z1000 (Major Z)
For the most part stock. I haven't really done anything to this bike like I done to Captain Z Just a few tasteful mods. Air box mod, K&N air filter, steel braided brake lines, LED light kit, Redone the seats, rear fender eliminator, Custom LED turn lights and upgraded Headlight. I have a Dash LED kit to change the color from orange to white also a zx10 header and a Ackropovic Carbon/titanium can waiting to go on it.

My bike is a 2006 Honda VTX1300C. I have  Leatherlyke Bags, Memphis Shades Batwing Fairing, Cobra floor boards, Vance & Hines Big Shots (at the moment), Clear LED Tail Light, 15 Color LEDGlow Kit, DDM HID Upgrade, Pair Mod, Airbox Mod & Decapped, Carb has Pro Kit (bigger jets & smaller springs, Mustang seat, Cobra passing lights, 3" Fork extensions, 1800C Rear Shocks, Cobra Tach, Custom Risers (1-1/8" deep well sockets), Custom Kickstand (stretched to allow for ride height), WOLO Badboy Air Horn, Leather Tank Bib, Tank mounted HD ignition switch, and some extra Chrome. I plan to be running a car tire in the back soon. Someday I might put the front off of a VTX1800 on it with inverted forks. And, while I'm dreaming I'd love to have one of B & D's custom paint jobs.

UPDATE on PAULRIDES - What Do You Ride. I was on CRGR Photo Album tonight where I have posted Ride Maxchines along with various ride reports (all since about 2010).

Anyway, here it is: http://www.countryroads.org/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=9512

Copy:
Paul's Machines May 2001 to Jan 2013 -- Started riding again in May of 2001 at age 63.

2001 Honda VLX 600 bought new in May 2001 - put 71,000 miles on it and sold Jan 2006.

2005 Kawasaki 800 Classic bought in Jan 2006 with 2500 miles - put 84,000 miles on it and sold in May, 2011.

2007 Burgman 650 bought in March of 2009 with 1700 miles - now have 61,000 on it as of Jan 29, 2013 and sold for $200 with a broken CVT at 73,800 miles in Nov 2013.

2008 Kawasaki NINJA 500 in May of 2011 with 1000 miles on it - now have (UPDATE 52,600 on it as of Dec 2014).

UPDATE 2011 Burgman 400 bought used in Dec 2013 with 5100 miles and now (DEC 2014) have 22,600 on it.

The most comfortable and best ride overall is is the Burgman 650. Handles good, plenty of power for local and cruising (Burgman USA web site members clock it at 105MPH -so cruises easlily at 70 mph actual). BY THE WAY -- I am running a NEXXEN Car Tire on rear. Handling is a bit different, but I ride curves of east TN as I use to do on MC tire. Now have 18,000 miles on the car tire and near the wear indicators. :-) VS 6000 to 8000 mile replacements on MC Tire that cost 30% more.

I am liking the Burgman 400 as much as the 650 for my kind of rides. Running a car tire on rear since 6200 miles (nopw at 22600 miles).

The Ninja 500 is the most fun short ride machine, short rides as it is not real comfortable. It is better with the raised seat and handle bars and added windshield. Raise the handle bars another 2 or 3 inches, you would have a small touring bike (but shortage of cable lengths to do that).

I say the Ninja would out perform the Burgman 650 and any of the others.

Darn -- I was only 62yr old in the picture on the Honda VLX 600. Where has the time gone.  :groan
