Thats what I was about to mention BEG.  Most people are slower in lefts due to the thought in the back of there mind of crashing or running off the road, you have less room to recover or save it as there is only half a lane to spare before hitting dirt etc..

look thru the turn AND THRU YOUR BIKE.  Get a good sense of exactly where the tires are at in relation to your body when in a turn and your survival reactions for left turns will decrease or disappear..

Trust is everything..  body, Brake, n Believe....

Okay went back this evening, and practiced some more.i am de more comfortable in my right hand turns.one question i have is how do my arms an elbows go?do I keep them inside the handlebars,or out?maybe it depends on your overall body positioning.idk

I started riding on the street when I was 14.Had a CB125 I rode to my buddies and then on his trails.Got a SR185 I rode those things wide open.Had the 3 Bs down pat fueled by stupid.Started driving and bikes went away for 20yrs.I started riding again 4 yrs ago and partially due to the roads I now ride I'm just now starting to get it back.Had more fun on the bike this week than I have since I got it.M2 is giving some great advice. And getting those things down while your still on the smaller bike is IMO a really good idea.I wish I had been able to keep my Shadow when we got the VStar for 2 up.

Elbows, Im not real sure what the proper positioning would be So Im not gonna answer that.  Do whats comfy just dont put unwanted weight on the bars thru your arms, elbows, wrist, etc.

Inside elbow should be dropped
Outside elbow should stay somewhat bent (reserve for emergency correction to stand up bike).
Shoulders should be "opened up" to the turn (imagine showing the turn your cleavage)
Head dropped, keeping eyes looking as far out through the turn as possible.
Centerline of body should be inline with inside fork tube.
Inside butt cheek off seat
Knee out

Okay...considering this is my first set of radial tires oppose to bias-ply..I can't really give you a review on a variety of tires,performance,etc...But...I will tell you that to me...

These tires are sickkk..
It's like super glue...they Beg for a corner,Demand increasing radius curves, and Despise any straightaway...
All while riding in the rain/wet most of the am..
Now..all i got to do is lean with it..
And I'll be on my way...

But mind you:This is my first set of "radials,I'm on a 2fiddy,and I'm a chick.

So WTH do i know?

Talk to Suzie Moody and being on a small displacement bike and being a chick and see what the response is lol.... probably something along the lines of backing it in and drifting the entire corner while giving you the finger lol......

I am learning more and more as I ride.
Not only about my bike but learning about myself also..i have come along way in a year and a half..while being safe.I am leaning a lot more..and I feel more and more comfortable the more I ride.i am super confident in right hand turns..but left handers I do not..doesn't feel awkward but it's not the confidence I have in most right hand turns.i think it is the fear of the double yellow.....serious..which is okay..I am dragging my feet all the time now.so I guess I will get me some rear sets..now...I have rode Kevin's R6 last couple times...and F**k what a world of difference..the ride, the braking, the shifting, the torque power...i need power coming out of a turn not for a straightaway.my lil ninjette is in the f**n Stone Age..cant be having that.it seems like the more I ride the 600 the more I like it..

I moved up to a FZ6R from the 2fiddy and I'm loving it.. more torque than a SS but not top end.  A bit heavier than the 250, but I wanted that.. to me the 250 felt like I was trying to race a 10 speed w tiny tires.  Was more afraid of pushing it too hard and trusting it would hold.. that is gone on the FZ6R (but I still have the left handers issue)
