Vintage is good and comfortable.

Redesign is Cool  8)  -- Does not look so comfortable. Another go ride the gap bike.  ???

Not a Ride with PAULRIDES bike like Curt finally got. (see picture)   :groan

Good luck what ever.  ;D    :happyrider

its a goldwing paul, not a gap bike. not sure why "aggressive" styling always relates to gap bike :groan... im going that route because its what i like and comfort is in the eyes and body of the rider. i have long arms and i can run shorter bars and not be leaned over. the ones on it crowd me. :35

Thanks Rick! I ordered headlight brackets, tires, and battery.  Should have it by mid week next week. Gonna clean on it tomorrow and get it prepped for some new parts. Ill also be starting a build thread on it. I'm very anxious to get to working on it....

I have quite a few 1100 parts. Probably nothing you will need but you never know.

Never can tell..... I'm in search of both side covers and the left switch block . The case is cracked on mine.

Well I finally had a chance to pull the carbs from their chem dip and clean them up. Turned out rather nice if i do say so. I did take a couple pics and even took the time to do a little color treatment to a couple parts....

Took a bit of extra time and cleaned and prepped the carb tops and intake manifolds and gave them a nice coat of the black stuff.....

got the carbs back together completely and noticed another small issue. one of the two coolant crossover tubes was leaking. luckily we already had the orings here to fix it. also took the time last night to wire and mount the headlight assembly. drained the old oil, and it wasnt in bad shape at all and installed a new filter. also had to drain the coolant to change the crossover o rings, and surprisingly it was very good too. other than that just did some general cleaning. hoping to put the carbs on and change the tires on tuesday. took a couple pics for your enjoyment........

You may want to consider changing the timing belts. The Goldwing is an interference engine so things get very ugly if you break a belt. You need two Gates T274 belts. When you do it get a Gates 21008 hose, cut it in half and you have new radiator hoses.
