BatWing??
« on: July 09, 2013, 04:22:17 pm »
I love the look of baggers. I have been thinking lately I would like to try to mount a batwing on the front of maggie. I have the hard bags that Luke hooked me up with. But I am thinking a batwing would complete the bagger look. What do you all think? Look silly on an old bike?

Somehow I just can't picture Maggie with a fairing but like my buddy says thats why they make chocolate and vanilla ice cream.Be interesting to see the pics if you do it.

I'm afraid a batwing would look huge  on Maggie. I thought you were selling it anyway

I think if you got one that wasn't too wide it be pretty cool. You could stick mine up there to get a look if you want.

Sorry bro...no spares. But, like I said we can mock it up to get an idea of how it would look.

Personally, I think it would look good with a fairing, but that's just me.

I've been toying with the idea of putting a MS Fairing on my bike, and painting it to match the bike. Just don't have the extra cash right now.....

Like NIKE says.... just do it!    :34

If your paint is like mine it'll cost way more than the fairing...lol

Still got the clear one from the shadow? You could do a little paint work and use it.

Not yet, u am going to try it. I found some on flee bay under $100 for used Harley and Yamaha ones.
Larry the one. I have from the shadow isn't exactly what I am going for. One just like yours is what I am after. It will take some custom fab and cutting down to make it look right though. Might find someone good with glass that can just make one from scratch.

I had one once on mine.It really wasn't bad especially for what it cost and Alex the owner seems like a really nice guy.If I ever decide to back to a fairing that will definately be the way I go.
