How about a GOOD DEAL on fixing a BRPKE BURGMAN 650 (I think the CVT Belt, but not 100 % sure).

Just joking (sort of)   ::)  But, I do need a cheaper than what I anticpate is the fix (most folks say around $2500 if you have it doen at a dealer). I may end up junking it as I do not intend to put that much into it.

Actually, I think it is a good thing that you started for Mtn Motorsports. I am guesing most MCist have most everything they really need and until that is gone (used up, wore out, etc.), they are not really shopping for anything.

We have a used Versys up here that may be a good solution. Already decked with an aftermarket seat and hardbags.

That use to be Tom's Bike -- I had a chance to buy it back when I bought the NINJA 500 (2011). I forget the price -- but it was equal to the Trade In Mtn Motorposrts was offering him and add the tax costs he wouild pay by selling vs trad in (I think something around $4000. A good deal actually.

I had another chance at the time to buy one a yr newer (not all the extras) with low miles from a friend at $3800. He ended up trading it at Mtn Motorsports for $3300 on a Yamaha 950 Cruiser.

Which he has decided he is too old to ride anymore and wants to sell it. He has not given me a price or pictures yet. I will post it when he does if he does. IT WILL BE A GOOD DEAL I BET. But, I am not into cruisers right now.

Theya re a grea ride, a little tall in the saddle for me.  :groan  AND UGLY.

I still consider them (wish they were about 4 inches lower).
