I don't think the Scorpion can is ugly at all. Just way too long. I would love to find something similar to compute on

I don't really like the color change on the scorpion.

Grabbed wheel bearings and some 90 aluminum valve stems.  Tires go on tomorrow.

no bike should be without 90 valve stems.  atleast Ducatti sends them out the factory that way..

Thanks, although this project so far is mostly just parts swapping. My old GS on the other hand is something I would consider "built". http://easttnbikers.com/index.php?topic=143.0

Hopefully my CB will turn out to be something he can be proud of building.

Incredible build thread Ian.  To build it, it gets wrecked, you build it again to your specs.  I really dig great endings like that Suzuki.  Once again great job Ian.

Haven't been updating this but progress is being made.  New levers to replace my bent brake lever.

Replaced the broken zip-tied on brake fluid reservoir with the funky aluminum cap.

Also adjusted the valves and replaced all the related gaskets and gave her an oil change with some Motul.

OK..she's functionally intact again!  It was a great day for the little orphan when you bought her.

Now to address the fuggly ...er... I mean, the cosmetically challenged aspect.  A bike that works as well as you've made that little Kwacker should be able to show her face in presentable company.  :)

So, let's put it to the assembled ETB multitude...what colour should Ian paint the little Kwack?

Please vote now...

I think if I planned to keep it I would paint it in a similar scheme to the gs.

I've always loved that bike. I had one for a very short time but it was beat to death.

Looks good!
