coil question
« on: January 03, 2014, 08:32:53 pm »
Looking at these coils---notice the cracks  :groan
Is there a way to seal and reuse them? maybe epoxy?
or do they need to be replaced?

I would replace. But if money is an issue you can try using a plastic epoxy or jb weld. Might work

Best is to replace. IF you absolutely have to, try some 2 part epoxy (non conductive if it can be verified) JB would scare me as I'd assume it to be conductive. The key is to have something non conductive there.

again BEST is to replace.
