2014 winter upgrade
« on: January 17, 2014, 07:59:55 pm »
I decided to get back on the track and get back into racing.  I sold my last race bike in late 2012. Went without until late this summer when I purchased the orange 09 r6.  I rode it for maybe 1500 miles or so and decided that I was either going to buy a race bike or build the orange one. The orange bike was mint. 100% stock. I didn't really want to destroy it so, I sold it.  I went and purchased me an ex-ama racebike. I had to do a little work on it to get it where I need/wanted it.  It was a VERY well known race teams bike and sorted out but had to adjust the controls for where I wanted it.

Here is a list of goodies:
Fast glass Race bodywork (great stuff me and curtie installed and painted)
Vortex rearsets
Vortex 520 sprockets and did chain
Gpr steering dampner
Vortex clip on
Datatool gear indicator
Yamaha stand alone quick shifter
BMC race air filter
Datatool race fuel map selector switch
Keyless ignition
Vortex keyless gas cap
Woodcraft engine case savers both sides
Vortex swing arm spools
ebc extreme pro brake pads front and rear

Thermosman built 25mm ohlins front forks
Thermosman built ohlins ttx36 rear shock

Graves titanium custom exhaust
Graves Yamaha YEC custom ECU
Graves Yamaha custom wire harness

RD Racing built powerplant. Tuned for u4.4 and mr12.

I wanna say special thanks to Curtie, and Brandon for helping me get it painted and situated. Curtie has worked hard with me this week to get the bodywork mounted and painted.  Hopefully in the next couple days I'll have it all lettered up with the yellow plates and whatnots.

Pics coming

Ps. A special thanks to an unnamed support person.
