well on a track that's fine, but a road like the gap where lefts and rights come up fast that much hanging off would be damn near impossible, good photo op is all it is I think,,,,,or on the other hand maybe that's what good looks like!!!

Baby, if you can lay a 800 lb. plus bike over like that and pick it up again you're darn good in my book.  That ain't no street bike.  But I wouldn't do my bike that way.  He's scraping a lot of chrome off his right muffler.

Who is it that only rides at night on a Goldwing on the Gap? That thing is lit up like a Christmas tree.

I was camping and I saw that guy pull up. I was like "Who is this guy?" Jamming music and even had a headlight on. I said, oh well, crazy local. And went back to sleep.

You should be use to us crazy locals by now. You don't need to start worrying until you hear banjo music.

Since I've been up there a lot the last 5 or 6 years, I've met a good bit of locals. I rode with Palmer a few times before he went to WERA. And I was riding with Duckworth a good bit too. But some locals are real standoff'ish and don't want you around (Moody).

No biggie to me. I have a great time.

I'm saving up for a Gold Wing. I wanna pull my bikes up there behind a Gold Wing. Probably moving to ATL soon. So I'll be 3 hours away, not 10.

Its not so much there stand offish. There tired of people crashing trying to follow them thru.  Witch I cant blame them. The occasion a tourist trys to follow me I either back it down a notch or just leave them behind. Ive had several go down behind me from trying to hard.  The Moody's I wont even try to keep up with.  They WILL lead you to your death.  There nutz on that road and know it better than many of the locals.  Be warned...
