MotoGP 2014: Qatar GP Marquez vs Rossi

Looks like reports of the death of Rossi's career may have been a bit premature.

I finally got to watch the race last night. It was a great race and the dueling between VR and MM was fun to watch. If the rest of the season is like Qatar it's going to be a fantastic season.

BTW, Indy is the weekend of Aug. 10. Will you be stateside?

I think Marquez ONLY did what he had to do to keep rossi behind him. I think MM could have made a gap if he needed to. But why push it?

I don't know. Slower or not, VR isn't someone I would want knocking on my backdoor. Once he's there he's usually able to take advantage of it by either waiting on you to mess up or pushing you until you blow it. I'm a MM fan but I don't think that was an easy race for him. (Beyond the obvious, with the broken leg and all.)

Then I guess I will too.
