The proposed class structure make pretty good sense to me and I'm glad to see the AMA align more closely with the WSBK and FIM practices.  I'm very curious to know what the two additional classes might end up being.  I'd bet at least one of them will be a single make class and the on going discussions are about lining up a manufacturer to support it.

Plainly the upper classes are strictly pro team level but I would think a well heeled privateer could swing a season of 600 Superstock racing.  Looking at the mods allowed when they release the technical rules would determine the size of the bankroll needed.

Still, hopeful beginnings and I think this bodes well for the future of American road racing.

So far they release a schedule that is tentative today. Already 8 scheduled.  Seems to be gaining steam
