Cool.

Might have some of old days (1963 time frame) and my Honda Dream 150CC and BSA 350CC. One 8MM movie I think in closet. Probably need to throw them away or have them made to a DVD.

Found a few old pictures (from early 1960s) that I had scanned into the computer. Been cleaning and trying to organize files on old laptop all day (bought a new one). BSA 350 (1963 I think it was  -- we left CA in 1965).

Wonder if I could ever get that trim again.  :groan

PICTURE
Located in front of apartments in Orange, CA -- I did not wear all the protection that I do now. A 3/4 helmet and light jacket and jeans (thought I was protected). Rode back and forth to work from Orange to Anaheim and a lot of country rads west and north of Orange, CA.

Result of racing around on a make shift race track kind of in a junk yard area - I still had fenders on, but lights off.  (forget what they called those tracks -- reasonably slow speed with hills, curves, slight jumps).  I Passed a guy and hit some ruts and got into a wobble. Went down and over the handle bar --- cracked the bone in foot about where it connected to the little toe. DR put a cast on it.

I think that was Larry's Bike to left of me --- a 500 Norton if I remember.

Finally, took fenders off and was not licensed. I think this was about 1/2 way between Anaheim and riverside. Eventually, there was a neighborhood build near tthe area and nosie bothered the folks. So, some put nails all around the trails.

Moved to VA in 1965 --- some years after (probably early 70s as I had a 1969 Mercury sitting in background) ended up in VA Beach and switched rides (one HP). First horse ever owned (Appaloosa spooky as heck, but good ride). Had a couple different ones, have not located the picture of the other one -- nice quarter horse on a ride in VA Mtns. .
