  • I might be old, but can mount without help. HA!
It's required to start the year off right, , but not sure I am going to with highs of 22F. Be first Jan 1 ride I have missed in years.

Shucks, ride around the block if nothing else just to say I did. It will be above 20F for several hours and sunshine from about noon and pretty sure roads will be dry. Think a ride to The Slab would be nice (wonder if they will be open for coffee and a snack?).

I did ride one year when temperatures were in the teens (F) and was DANG glad to find a station open near Greenville to warm up after about 1 1/2 hrs.

That said, I am older now and maybe have more sense. Also, know better how to dress warm.  :happyrider

DOUBT anyone is interested, and not sure I will go. But, let me know if you are interested and see what we can work out.

Ride Country Roads - a lot. :-)

My Triumph is currently over at Chris' house, I may go over to bring it home but that'll likely be the extent of my New Year's ride.

I might put a few miles in.Likely less than 10 miles.
Marc

Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

:happypep :happyrider  With these temperatures and apparently some ice last night in parts of Sevier / Cooke County (back country I think), it's getting difficult to have a desire to ride (not impossible). Sure is nice here in the house.  ;)

Gonna wait until about 2 or 3PM and make a decision -- it will be a short ride.  :groan

My desire level is low so I circled the yard a few times on both bikes.
