New bike for Ian
« on: April 14, 2018, 09:25:51 am »
Ian phoned me about ten days ago to mention that a customer of his had given him a Honda 50cc kids bike.  Apparently the customer had bought the bike for his grandkids, who had now outgrown it, and knowing that Ian had small kids wanted to see it pass on to be enjoyed by more kids.  Ian tried to pay him something for the little bike but the customer was adamant about the little 50 being a gift.  Isn't that an astonishingly generous act?

Ian showed up at my place this morning and delivered bike and kids before he had to go to work.  As one might guess, he couldn't leave before trying the little bike out and giving the kids their first rides on it.  Photos of the festivities follow:

I'm way too big!

The little bike gets its first customer.

Happy!

even more happy!

My favorite photo.

Note the passenger's expression.

end of the riding....time to go to work.

I don't think the kids will get many rides in with the Big Kids riding all the time.  :happypep

I've been debating on a way to make the training wheels quickly detachable.
